Be Mine! A popular phrase stamped onto Valentine’s candies, cards, clothing, bears, cookies, and balloons. It’s a traditional way of asking someone during the Valentine’s season to be in a relationship with them, go out with them, or start a life with them.
It is charming, romantic, and a most expected request. Everyone wants to be welcomed, accepted, loved, and cherished by someone. Most of us are just waiting for the invitation to belong to someone and forever be in their heart!
Well, we have great news for you all! There is someone Great and Mighty who since the beginning of time has extended an invitation to accept His love! God has loved you with a powerful love and He even sent His only Son to die for you and prove that unending love for you.
Just imagine our loving God reaching His hand out to you and whispering the words “Be Mine!” Gives you chills doesn’t it? You know why?——Because deep in your heart you know His love is the exact love you want and need! His love never fails! It never gives up! It never runs out! It only grows deeper, gets stronger, and perfects!
Now that’s a love we can’t do without! That’s a love we want all of the time, not just one day out of the year. So what are you waiting for? Stop looking to man—-mere mortals—-to love you in a way that they will never be able to. Look to The One who is full capable of capturing and cherishing your heart! Go ahead! Reach back for God’s hand and accept His invitation to “Be His!”
